Some of my hobbies are:

• Hiking (it has always been my hobby). I was the deputy leader of the best hiking groop from Oradea. In 1996 we were the best in Romania. I have been a scout since I was 8. Currently, I am officer (I cannot get a higher rank than that.). I know the mountains from my area as well as my own hands. They are in fact beautiful. If you know someone who needs a tour guide for a hike, I am at their disposal. In addition to this, I am a very good skier.
• Every Friday (and not only) I visit the English Club, where I have the possibility to speak with foreigners from many different countries.
• I am interested in a great number of things and I want to deepen my general knowledge. This is a reason to meet friends in town. Believe me, I have many, many friends and more to come!
• I play on the guitar since more than 10 years. If I'm not in the mountains, I listen to the music several hours a day. I play mostly slow songs.

This is my career as computer scientist:

My name is Csaba Ákos Papp and I was born into a teacher-family from Oradea, Romania. My interest in mathematics and electronic devices was discovered at a very early age. Before ever going to school, I could already write, count to 1000 and write my first computer program. I have since deepened my knowledge of this field.

I went to school.

Because my mother was a german teacher, my parents arranged that I go to a German-speaking school.

That is extraordinary because I am Hungarian. German-speaking school means that all the scientific subjects are studied in German and we learn German as a native language. It means the teachers were from Germany. In addition to school, I started playing the violin and the guitar. After all I am a scout officer. I got admitted into high-scool (it begins after the 8th form). Although the grammar school class had the section maths-physics, my computer science studies could continue intensely. In the year 2002, I graduated. One diploma I had already secure. I passed the Advanced Level of a German language examination with flying colors. In May I got the official one German language diploma (Stage II) of the cult minister conference from Germany. I speak also a very good intermediate English, and am a beginner at French, but I will continue my French studies.

The education my father gave me has been an important part of my life. As a physics and mathematics teacher, he studied with me even during vacations.

He taught me the basic levels of programming. But I continued to learn programming on my own. When in 1996, I got admitted to the school of students of extraordinary abilities, I could already do all BASIC and PASCAL commands. I lacked knowledge in algorythms but I learned it at this school. I was very lucky because most of the children didn't have computer science studying possibilities at this age. Later I could deepen my knowledge of this area under the management of Dr. Anton Boer, teacher at the school. My other forte, which I know just as well, is mathematics. I learned this from one of the best teachers from Oradea who speaks German also perfectly.

I have a good knowledge of algebra and Analysis. With computer science, I know the programming languages DELPHI, PASCAL, C++, C# (well), HTML, I have also basic knowledge in Java and in the administrator work.

In 2002 I started my mathematics - computer science studies at the university of Oradea. I was third best at the entrance examination and I got a scholarship for that.

Since march 2003 I work at a Swiss company. I work on the databases of libraries.
